PROJECT BACKGROUND
Shipping an integrated scipting Environment with Windows 7 and 2008 R2 was a strategic decision to increase the adoption of PowerShell. In Windows PowerShell ISE, you can run commands and write, test, and debug scripts in a single Windows-based graphic user interface with multiline editing, tab completion, syntax coloring, selective execution, context-sensitive help, and support for right-to-left languages.
PROCESS
I worked as the sole designer on Powershell ISE delivering designs for editing, debugging and remoting scenarios. I ensured the alignment of ISE visual design to Windows Client branding. I lead the fit & finish effort and tracked UX bugs to ensure UX polish to be of shipping quality.
